A strategic initiative under the Hirdaramani Group, aimed at expanding its apparel business and enhancing its local value chain, Mihila Tex is expected to commence Commercial production in early 2026, positioning itself as a key contributor to the textile industry in Sri Lanka and beyond.
Our state-of-the art facility will be located in Pannala, Sri Lanka. The plant will be designed to integrate cutting-edge technologies and eco-friendly practices, redefining textile production.




At Mihila Tex, we are committed to driving sustainable growth and innovation within the textile industry. Our progress timeline outlines a carefully planned journey from site acquisition to full-scale production designed to ensure an efficient, future ready manufacturing operation. Commercial production is expected to begin in Q2 2026 with an initial capacity of 15 tons per day, with plans to expand to 50 tons per day.
Mihila Tex will be a joint venture blending the Hirdaramani Group’s rich heritage of sustainable apparel manufacturing with Hengda Textiles’ technical expertise. Together, we will bring decades of knowledge, experience, and vision to revolutionize textile production.
